  • The story about the turns judge and her lie is fairly upsetting. It may have been a small event, but it’s not okay for officials to act like this. It only serves to justify worse actions and lies they may chose to tell or engage in.

    Strokes and turns judges exist to officiate and facilitate swimmers’ participation in their sport. That’s it. They shouldn’t be making up stories about the people they’re meant to be helping.
